Shakti Spirit Sadhana : SamharaKrama – the Path of Dissolution
Journey through the SRI YANTRA & KHADGAMALA STOTRAM
With Trikona Devi
In the Sri Vidya Tantra tradition, the Sri Yantra is the geometric manifestation of the goddess Lalitha Tripura Sundari (The Playful Beauty of the three Worlds), who is the Supreme aspect of Shakti, the Power of Creation. Each level of the Yantra symbolizes a stage of tantric initiation and the passage from individuality to Cosmic Union.
Shakti means divine energy or power. It’s the Life force that flows through everything, the energy that makes the universe move, grow and come alive, the living power that also flows within You.
The Sri Yantra is intimately linked to the human body. It is considered not only a cosmic representation, but also a map of the subtle body and spiritual awakening through the chakras (energetic centers) and the nadis (energetic channels).
The Khadgamala Stotram is a sacred chant dedicated to the Divine Mother in the Sri Vidya Tantra tradition associated with the worship Lalitha Tripura Sundari. The word Khadgamala translates to Garland of Swords, the sword refers to the divine weapon that cuts through ignorance and illusion, granting spiritual knowledge and protection.
The Sri Yantra and the Khadgamala Stotram are deeply connected – They are two expressions of the same sacred reality in Sri Vidya Tantra. One is visual, the other is verbal:
– The Sri Yantra is the form, the sacred geometry
– The Khadgamala Stotram is the sound, the sacred vibration
Sri Yantra is the map of the Body, the Sacred Temple of the Goddess, Khadgamala Stotram is the guided pilgrimage through the temple, greeting every deity along the way. By chanting the Khadgamala Stotram with devotion and understanding, we are mentally and energetically moving through the Sri Yantra, from the outer layers of Creation to the ultimate union with the Goddess at the Bindu (the dot, source of creation).
During this retreat, we will be manifesting and worshiping the Creative Power, the Shakti within us with the following embodiment practices:
– Kalaripayattu body conditioning
– Mantras, Mudras & Meditations
– Introduction to the Sri Yantra: Tithi Nitya Devata (aspect of the Goddess associated with lunar phases), and Augha Guravah (Spiritual lineages).
– Khadgamala Stotram: Chanting and worship of the Sri Yantra.
– Pralaya Yoga
– Sparsha Yoga (Yoga of Touch)
This is a five parts journey flowing through the different layers of the Sri Yantra, in collaboration with Yogahouse:
SamharaKrama – The path of Dissolution
Shristi – Creation
Stithi – Preservation
Samhara – Dissolution
ShristiKrama – The path of Manisfestation
