Ayurveda not only deals with the ways to cure diseases but it also gives many advice to prevent getting sick and how to stay healthy in the first place. In this workshop you will learn some fundamental concepts of Ayurveda and you will also get some practical tips to take care of your body and prevent getting sick. The author has written a book about Health and Happiness based on the wisdom of Ayurveda, Yoga and Chinese Medicine. (Book Title: Tracing the roots of Health and Happiness)

Sandeep H.
After working for 7 years in the software industry for Bosch GmbH in Germany and India, Sandeep quit his job in 2011 to study Vedanta for 2 years in the Chinmaya Mission, Mumbai where he studied Vedantic texts in Sanskrit from various monks in the traditional Indian style. He has studied Yoga from Kaivalyadhama for 3 years (Post-Graduation Diploma in Yoga Education, Post-Graduation Diploma in Yoga Therapy).
He has also spent 2 months studying in Yoga Vedanta Forest Academy at the Divine Life Society, Rishikesh founded by Swami Sivananda. He has been several times to the 21 day Hatha Yoga Course conducted at Isha Yoga Centre at Coimbatore. He holds RYT 500 certification (Yoga Alliance certified Teacher Training Certificate (TTC)) from Yogadarshanam in Mysore where he studied ashtanga yoga.
Sandeep has been living in various ashrams in India spending time with saints from the past 9 years and practicing different types of meditation along with his studies. Sandeep is well versed in 5 languages including Sanskrit and German (other than Kannada, English and Hindi which is widely spoken in Karnataka).
In October 2019, Sandeep published his first book “Tracing the Roots of Health and Happiness” which is the result of his 10 years of study of Yoga, Ayurveda, Vedanta, Buddhism, Taoism, Chinese Medicine and many other sources of knowledge.
Ajurvéda je systém celostnej medicíny s koreňmi v staroveku pochádzajúci z Indie. „Ayu“ znamená život a „Veda“ poznanie, ajurvéda je preto poznaním života. Ajurvéda sa nezaoberá len spôsobmi liečenia zdravotných problémov, ale poskytuje aj množstvo informácií o tom, ako chorobám predchádzať a ako si v prvom rade zdravie udržať. Na workshope sa naučíme niekoľko základných pojmov a princípov ajurvédy a dostaneme aj niekoľko praktických rád, ako sa o svoje telo starať tak, aby sme predišli chorobám. Lektor workshopu Sandeep H. je autorom knihy o zdraví a šťastí založenej na múdrosti ajurvédy, jogy a čínskej medicíny – Tracing the roots of Health and Happiness (Ku koreňom zdravia a šťastia).

Sandeep H.
7 rokoch pracoval v softvérovom priemysle pre Bosch GmbH v Nemecku a Indii. Neskôr však Sandeep v roku 2011 prácu opustil, aby 2 roky študoval Vedantu v Chinmayi v Bombaji, kde študoval védantické texty v sanskrte od mníchov v tradičnej, pôvodnej podobe. 3 roky študoval jogu z Kaivalyadhamy (postgraduálny diplom v jogovom vzdelávaní, postgraduálny diplom v jogovej terapii).
Strávil tiež 2 mesiace štúdiom na Yoga Vedanta Forest Academy v Divine Life Society v Rišikéši, ktorú založil Swami Sivananda. Niekoľkokrát bol na 21-dňovom kurze Hatha jogy v Isha Yoga Centre v Coimbatore. Je držiteľom certifikácie RYT 500 (Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher Training Certificate (TTC) z Yogadarshanamu v Mysore, kde študoval aštánga jogu.
Sandeep už 9 rokov žije v rôznych ášramoch v Indii, trávi čas so svätými a popri štúdiu praktizuje rôzne druhy meditácie. Komunikuje v 5 jazykoch vrátane sanskrtu a nemčiny (okrem kannadčiny, angličtiny a hindčiny, ktorou sa bežne hovorí v Karnatake).
V októbri 2019 Sandeep vydal svoju prvú knihu „Tracing the Roots of Health and Happiness“, ktorá je výsledkom 10-ročného štúdia jogy, ajurvédy, védanty, budhizmu, taoizmu, čínskej medicíny a mnohých ďalších zdrojov celostnej múdrosti.
